Using this site

Party Sums provides free dog and cat calculators for educational and informational use. No account or sign-up is required, and there is no charge to use any page on this site.

Not medical advice

The calculations on this site use standard event-planning conventions (drinks per guest per hour, buffet portions per adult, ice per guest, square feet per seat, dance-floor and tent sizing rules, Wilton's cake serving chart, the common wedding budget split), not original research or a substitute for your caterer, venue or planner. They are averages: your crowd may drink more or less, your venue may set its own capacity limits, and alcohol service is subject to local law. Use the numbers as a starting point and confirm with the professionals you hire.
